Primary Applications :

Nuclear Energy: Lithium fluoride (highly enriched in Lithium-7) is a base solvent for liquid-fluoride nuclear reactors (such as FLiBe mixtures), preferred for its low melting point and low neutron absorption.
Optics and Spectrometry: Used as windows, prisms, and lenses in specialized UV and infrared (IR) instruments, including Vacuum Ultraviolet (VUV) spectroscopy.
Electronics (OLED/PLED): Widely used as a thin coupling layer (approx. 1 nm) in OLED and PLED devices to enhance electron injection.
Radiation Detectors: LiF crystals are used in thermoluminescent dosimeters (TLD) to measure radiation exposure, as they mimic the radiation-absorbing properties of human tissue.
Battery Technology: Used as an electrolyte additive to stabilize the solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) layer, improving the cycling efficiency and safety of lithium metal batteries.
Metallurgy and Ceramics: Acts as a flux in welding and soldering aluminum, and in the production of enamel and glazes.

Tertutup sangat rapat. Kering. Simpan di tempat yang berventilasi baik. Simpan dalam tempat terkunci atau di tempat yang hanya bisa dimasuki oleh orang-orang yang mempunyai kualifikasi atau berwenang. Jangan disimpan dekat asam.
