Hydriodic Acid AR (Analytical Reagent grade) is a highly pure, typically 48-57% aqueous solution of hydrogen iodide (𝐻𝐼), used as a strong acid, reducing agent, and analytical reagent in laboratories. It is a colorless to pale yellow, corrosive liquid. It is frequently stabilized to prevent degradation into iodine.
