In its largest-scale application, chloroacetic acid is used to prepare the thickening agent carboxymethyl cellulose and carboxymethyl starch.Chloroacetic acid is also used in the production of phenoxy herbicides by etherification with chlorophenols. Kenakan pakaian pelindung. Jangan menghirup zat/campuran.
